Started Small and Strong
You might be surprised to discover that Sport Seasons is a family owned and operated business. You shouldn’t be
surprised to find that our owners and founding employees all have backgrounds in athletic footwear and apparel retailing.
In fact, our stores are full of talented, dedicated people who are truly passionate about sports and athletics. Some of them
have even been with us since we opened our first location.
Speaking of that, our first shop was opened in the summer of 1988 in the midst of an historic heat wave. We were
pretty thankful for the air conditioning then.
We started out with lots of Nike products, so customers would call our store “the little Nike shop”. Fortunately,
people stopped simply thinking about us as the “Nike Shop” once we expanded to include new product lines and
lost others based on what our customers wanted. Just one year later Sport Seasons opened our second location
in Nashville, TN.
Great customer care has always been the focus of what we do. For example, in the early days if a customer wanted
an item that was at another location we would jump into a car and personally deliver that item to the other store.
Over two decades later, we still provide this service for our customers; we just use delivery trucks now, rather than
the back seats of our cars.
In fact, if you have any problems or questions just contact us. We promise we’ll take your concern seriously. And, you
can always rely on us for having a real Sport Seasons employee help you rather than some anonymous person in a fulfillment
center somewhere.
Building Offline and Online
Sport Seasons has now grown to six brick-and-mortar locations in Tennessee with four in Nashville and two in Knoxville.
And, as you’ve discovered, we have a great click-and-order online business too.
We have the best selection of footwear in the Nashville and Knoxville areas including running, basketball, training, tennis, cleats, sandals, hiking, and cool retro styles, in sizes for the whole family. We also carry all the top brands in workout and causal athletic apparel. We even have other gear like soccer cleats, shin guards, socks & balls.

We’re dedicated sports fans just like you. That’s why we carry a huge selection of goods for local Tennessee teams like the
apparel, accessories and headwear for all the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA as well as the NCAA. A lot of out-of-state customers stop
in and tell us we have a better selection of their team’s merchandise than they can find at home! These items include an
extensive selection of caps, t-shirts & jerseys, along with shorts, pants, and all kinds of novelty items.
